Poerava Hybrid With Custom Resin Art

To those that have been looking for an example of custom resin art....... here you go.

This is our Poerava Hybrid with a green resin tint and off white opaque.

Gloss and polish is added but you can do with just a sanded finish.

Bamboo fins are separate but go well with our concepts.

All of our boards come with the free lap glassing and most use the 7.5oz to achieve this look.
We can do lighter cloth and sanded finish if you prefer.

Trying Out The Poerava Standard Shorty Summer '09

The Poerava Standard Shorty, great all around board. This is a 6'0" x 18 1/2" x 2 3/8" swallow
tail and has a deep single concave starting from the middle of the board through the tail.

The tail is also a bit wider and thicker which allows you to keep the speed flowing through the
slower sections or to get around Herbie Fletcher when he decides to tandem with you.

It is available with just the sanded finish but is deluxe with the resin tint, gloss and polish.

Fabricated Jewelry

All of Poerava's jewelry is fabricated, not cast and starts here at the bench in our San Clemente
office.

After pounding and twisting the sawing begins.

Sodering process, just like welding. Chieko also loves to use this torch while cooking!
Creme Brulee anyone.

After all is cooked, ready for polish.

Polishing really shows off the pounding and imperfections, keeping the one-of-kind concept
roll'n.

Ready to add the other parts and black pearls.

Hand crafting the classic leather mailman's bag begins with using top quality leather.
Our leather's are all unique and full of color which gives each one a new look from
the actual classic.

Each panel is hand cut.

Some panels are hand sewn for a unique look and the rest is sewn by machine for extra strength.

All the leather straps are hand cut, sanded, stained and punched.

All of our copper rivets receive our hand pressed name.

Then rivets are hand pressed to bag and these aren't just for looks.

We will be previewing our new hand crafted bags this April.

Truly Hand Crafted Belt Buckles

We know there is an easier way of making belt buckles but we choose do it the old fashioned
way, truly hand crafted one by one. Along with the buckles being hand crafted so is each one
of our leather belts.

Starts with raw materials.

Then cutting begins.

After cutting the pieces, are all welded together. This process really makes it a one-of-a-kind.

Fine tuning the shape.

Sanding down all the rough edges.

Adding the finishing touch to give it a darker look.
Hand made in the USA.

We will be previewing our new line of Poerava belts this April, check back soon.

Time to clear out your droor's, we have just added a new collection of Poerava treated and hand
printed tee's for him and for her.
The tee's, treatment and printing are all done here in the USA. All are done in very small batches
so we can keep the one-of-a-kind concept rolling.

Tee pulled off of table and placed on dryer.

Poerava Surfboards Are On The Way!

Starting this year 2010 Poerava will be adding some new toys to the line up.
We are adding five new styles of boards with a mix of old and new methods
of construction. Our website will be updated by the first of April and will be
previewing all of our new boards then.
